My LEGO Jaws Movie
Oct 23rd, 2011 by alton

Here is my first LEGO movie that I made with LEGO minifigs and stuff. I used my mom’s camera to take a picture of the LEGO scene, move them a little, take another picture, move them a little more, and take another picture, and when you put the pictures together you can make a movie out of them. This is called “stop animation” and it is how Wallace and Gromit and King Kong were made, although that is not how Jaws was.

My mom and dad were happy with my movie and thought it was funny. My dad loved the part when Chief Brody shoots the shark and says “Smile, you shaddabup!” I don’t know why Chief Brody says such a funny word in the movie and I guess my dad thought it was funny, too. My mom had a strange look on her face so I don’t think that was my mom’s favorite part.

The movie was produced for Universal Pictures and directed by Steven Spielberg from a screenplay by Peter Benchley and Carl Gottlieb based on the novel by Peter Benchley. The original music was composed by John Williams. I am just a kid and I am in no way affiliated with Universal Pictures or any of its subsidiaries. I am a fan, so please do not sue me.

Sound Perry Would Make If A Real Platypus

I was showing my dad Perry the platypus from Phineas and Ferb. He likes hearing Perry make that noise and thinks it’s funny. My dad was telling me about real platypuses. Their science name is Ornithorhynchus anatinus, which means ”duck-like bird snout”. The word platypus means “flat foot.” We were laughing at the weird noise Perry makes. We wondered if real platypuses make that sound, too.

My dad found a real platypus sound! It is from the Biodiversity Conservation Branch of the Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water, and Environment in Tasmania, Australia, where real platypuses live!
