I Was A Kid Zombie
May 19th, 2013 by alton

My mom’s friend wanted to know if I wanted to be a zombie. Heck yeah! Her friend had a friend named Alex who was trying to make a movie about the zombie apocalypse and he wanted some kids in it. So I went with my mom to some playground and spent most of the day pretending to be part of the undead. My mom even got to play the part of a zombie, too! We both had makeup on with lots of fake blood and fake scratches. Later in the day, my mom fell on some gravel and hurt her hands. She was bleeding, but the blood was not fake that time.

Alex wanted to make the entire movie, but he told me that he needed to make a movie trailer first so that other people could see it and maybe be interested in it. If they decided to be really interested, they could even help Alex with his movie. The movie is called “The Holy Dark” and Alex has a Facebook page about it. If you want to see it, the link is here.

The movie trailer is an Alex Helton Production. I am just a kid and I am in no way affiliated with him, but I hope he asks me to be in his movie again.

San Japan 2012
Aug 19th, 2012 by alton

Here is a fan music video made at this year’s San Japan. San Japan is a Japanese culture and anime convention held every year in San Antonio, Texas. A lot of people go to the convention dressed up in costume as their favorite fantasy or science fiction character. My mom and dad went as part of the booth for Doctor Who fans. A San Japan fan with a YouTube name of “Phoenix729” made this video. Here is his YouTube link. I am in the video several times dressed up as the tenth Doctor from Doctor Who. My mom is also in it dressed up as Donna Noble, the tenth Doctor’s companion. Get the joke?

The fan music video was created by Jeremy “Phoenix” Williams and the song is “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)” by The Proclaimers. I am just a kid and I am in no way affiliated with these people. I am a fan, so please do not sue me.

My LEGO Jaws Movie
Oct 23rd, 2011 by alton

Here is my first LEGO movie that I made with LEGO minifigs and stuff. I used my mom’s camera to take a picture of the LEGO scene, move them a little, take another picture, move them a little more, and take another picture, and when you put the pictures together you can make a movie out of them. This is called “stop animation” and it is how Wallace and Gromit and King Kong were made, although that is not how Jaws was.

My mom and dad were happy with my movie and thought it was funny. My dad loved the part when Chief Brody shoots the shark and says “Smile, you shaddabup!” I don’t know why Chief Brody says such a funny word in the movie and I guess my dad thought it was funny, too. My mom had a strange look on her face so I don’t think that was my mom’s favorite part.

The movie was produced for Universal Pictures and directed by Steven Spielberg from a screenplay by Peter Benchley and Carl Gottlieb based on the novel by Peter Benchley. The original music was composed by John Williams. I am just a kid and I am in no way affiliated with Universal Pictures or any of its subsidiaries. I am a fan, so please do not sue me.
